Briefing –Cadet Promotions

REPORTS:
Commander Collins.
- Cadets need to decide on things they want to do and do some research then bring it to the SMs so we can help make it happen.
- Still no funds for O-Flights but suggest preplanned and prepare the list of those needing O-Flights and prioritize them so we the time comes we can move forward.

Capt Brummett noted that we have only 2 mission Pilots. All eyes on Major Moeller to re qualify.

Mar 13 – St Patrick's Day Parade
- Lt Pike advised that she received feedback from a member, who has to work and cannot walk. Member does not feel the Walk or pay is fair. Pike agrees with this opinion. No decision was made.
- Lt Pike suggested the squadron offer some type of scholarship money for training for the Senior Member and cadet who get the most walkers. No decision what made
- Lt Pike suggested the need for a Project Officer to coordinate the St Patrick Day parade

CADETS:
Leadership Forum: Discussion on Self-Management from Page 78 of Leader Activity

Cadet Staff: Met with DCC to further define the new meeting format. Discussed how to streamline first half hour and determined that there was not enough time for Drill in that time. PT was going well though.
To free Staff up during dill at20:00 staff decided to get to airport as close to 1800 as possible to meet then.

General Cadet Information:
Cadets were asked to fill out a form containing the information needed data entry for promotions and attach a Feedback form self assessment to it for promotions (Start with next promotion) so that we ensure we are getting the correct information in the system. The feedback form is so that each cadet understand what is expected during the Phase.

PT Testing: Was Done tonight. Anyone wishing to test next week should bring appropriate shoes to change into and notify Mr Ravey.

DCC Comments to Cadets:

Drill Instruction – No time tonight for Drill due to Leadership running over (lack of focus)

Dismissal 20:35 (but office was not closed up until 21:15)
