Cadet units that display strong program fundamentals can earn the Quality Cadet Unit Award. This award, which started 3 years ago, motivates squadrons to pursue goals that have been found to lead to their having a vibrant Cadet Program. The Quality Cadet Unit Award is purely objective and taken from data collected between 1 Sept thru 31 August the following year. Cadet and composite squadrons who meet the challenging criteria automatically earn the award.
Ascension Composite Squadron is excited to announce that for the 3rd year in a row, our squadron has earned this distinction. With over 1400 units nationwide, only 194 met the criteria during the 2011-2012 time period.
This award is a squadron award in that it can not be earned unless the cadets and senior members do what it takes to meet the criteria, mostly cadets. It is a reflection on the quality and dedication of each one of the cadets in our unit.
WELL DONE!
