Ascension Composite Squadron - LA022, gave strong support for LA Wing participation in the recent emergency service exercise. With 38 squadron members on roster, considered active and available, 22 made themselves available for the mission. Thirteen of those were cadets.

Throughout the exercise, senior members served as Incident Command staff, Operations Branch Director, Mission Pilots, Scanners and Observers, Safety Officer and Ground Team Leaders. Cadets served as Mission Staff Assistants in Operations, Logistics, Safety and Administrative support functions, Ground Team Photo Recon and Mission Radio Operations.

We are very proud of both our Senior Members and Cadets for their dedication to the emergency services missions of the Civil Air Patrol. We know that the rest of the members would have been there if they could have.
