Congratulations to our cadets who attended the Louisiana Wing 2012 Summer Encampment.
Our squadron sent 3 first year cadets, who successfully completed their basic encampment. They were, Cadet E.Allen, Cadet D.Geromini and Cadet T.Price.
Five Ascension Cadets attended this encampment as staff. They were, Cadet CMSgt C.Gaudin, Flight Sgt. for Charlie Flight; Cadet TSgt L.Camacho, Safety OIC; Cadet SSgt J.Townsend, Communications Assistant; Cadet SSgt M.Christian, Logistics Assistant and Cadet Sr.Airman H.Pike, Public Affairs Officer Assistant.
We are proud to announce that Cadet Price received the Challenger Cadet award; Cadet CMSgt Gaudin's flight, which Cadet Geromini was a member of, won Warrior Flight for Esprit de Corp.
We are proud of all of these cadets and encourage cadets who have not experienced encampment, to do so as soon as possible.
